People are an unsure kind. They get screwed over and become emotionally insecure. They start asking questions they already know the answers to. They need confirmation. They want to know if what they would personally do about a problem is the right thing to do. They just need to hear it from somebody else, as if it might miraculously heal them to know that they were right. But does it heal them? No. They are still in the same place, same state, same broken peace.
